The History of Innovation
At the middle of eighties, during studies of Mechanical Engineering, MSc Roberto Sone inspired in the use of water in fighter planes during second war at aircraft carrier, the engineer started to investigate water emulsions in Diesel, Otto engines and 2 strokes motorcycles using solvents and emulsifiers obtaining pretty good results in performance and low emissions.
About 12 years ago, his family was commissioned by Chilean government to reproduce jatropha plants in a big scale, the purpose was Biofuels, this is the starting point of our studies in alternative fuels.
With the experience in emulsifiers and solvents they could obtain biofuels eliminating the drying process after the transesterification of vegetable oils and therefore reducing costs while obtaining improvements in performance and low emissions.
Sone concentrated all his technologies in Sciencenergy SpA and all the experience accumulated during all this years.
